I have read a number of posts on migrating, and if I understand the process of migrating my test site to my live website, I just need to make sure that in Lightroom, I update the TTG Publisher information (in my case removing the /TESTSITE part of the address) ...

... not sure why the screenshot is not showing up ... never have run into that before!
I haven't done it yet, but hope to over the weekend.
Then, in Backlight, go to Settings and Edit/make the changes there.
Am I missing anything???
Many thanks for all your help and patience along my path to learning Backlight.
Take care,

the reason the screen shot is not showing up is that you've put it between URL tags instead of IMG tags.
I think you've pretty much got it. One thing you may have to do is re-upload any images you've uploaded using Backlight's built-in upload feature. Sometimes the images fail to make the transition. No rhyme or reason to it, but something to be aware of.
You'll also want to be sure that you first remove any index files (index.php or index.html) and .htaccess files from the root of your site.
Probably best to clear out all stand-alone files (your web guy should know best), but those two for sure. Other folders are ok, I know you probably have a bunch, but other files, like an about.php or something, might cause issues.

Thanks, Rod! Sorry about the URL / IMG gaffe. I'll pay attention to all those extra items, but I had pretty much planned on removing those mentioned files.

Hi Margo,
Perhaps you saw my recent thread about migrating from Muse to Backlight. I went through just what you are doing.
As Rod points out, you have it all correct. I just wanted to add one thing: Before moving my Backlight site from my sub-domain in which I developed the new site, I created a folder in my /root directory on the server and copied all of the old site files into it. That way, I could access the old site if I wanted to. Once the old site files were copied, I deleted them as Rod described. I then copied all the new Backlight files to the /root directory and made the changes in LR Publish Services and Backlight settings as you noted. It worked like a charm!
Hope this helps.
