Wordpress doesn't change Color settings

Hi
I changed a few details in a Pagetemplate.
This Template is used for the Theme Template in Wordpress

I changed the Background Color. But there is no change in the Wordpress Blog. Navigation Style, Masthead and Social Icons were properly changed.

The Backgroundcolor changed from Dark to transparent.

at a "normal" Page (eg Contact) the changes are all ok.

What is wrong?

Re: Wordpress doesn't change Color settings

Did you export the theme to WordPress after you made the change?

Re: Wordpress doesn't change Color settings

Yes I did.
Exported the theme and then cleared the template cache.

Solved, as I wrote this post wink

I changed the theme in WP to another theme and back to the Backlight theme. this solved the error...

Re: Wordpress doesn't change Color settings

Cool, I think I have had to do that once or twice as well but that might just be clearing the browser cache.

Re: Wordpress doesn't change Color settings

Yep, yep. Saving changes should update Backlight's template cache. You may also need to clear your browser cache, and if you're using any Wordpress caching plugins, those might interfere with updates as well, so should be cleared.

Or I've found best practice is to disabled Wordpress caching plugins when I'm working on a site, and switching them back on again when I'm done working.
