After uploading an image, how do you add it to a page?

If I upload an image using Designer/Template/Uploaded Images, using the fol. html:
<img src= "Marla-Watermark25_2.png">
Doesn't produce the image.
Do I need a path? If so what is the path (I couldn't find it). If not, what is the correct way?

Look under designer > uploaded images and click on the image name and you will see the URL to use listed.

Ok so I am not seeing the image in the website, just the text.

I feel dumb because it's probably something obvious to a web designer,
My code is:

Let's get together over a cup o' joe!
<img src="http://www.marlajenkinsphotography.com/test/backlight/designer/?a=view_image&p1=8">

The image can be seen when I post the address in a browser though

my uploaded images are of the form "/backlight/designer/?c=page&a=image&p1=xx"

but I'm no web designer so I don't know what the significance of the difference in format is.

you don't need the opening and closing html tags when you write html in page copy. Try removing those.

oh, and the image url should be:

http://www.marlajenkinsphotography.com/test/backlight/designer/?c=page&a=image&p1=8

it looks like you've copied it from the browser address window.
in Backlight > Designer > Uploaded Images, just click on the name of the image. Then on the resulting page, scroll down below the image and copy the url. Don't copy it from the browser's address window

Thanks guys, another step in the right direction - just need to resize that puppy!

you can resize it in the html:

add width="nn" inside the src tag.
