I made this a password protected managed gallery, and logged in using the client user name and pw, made a few favorite selections and hit the submit button. Where did that email go? Isn't that supposed to go to me?
I checked the settings in Backlight, and my email address is correct.
I am able to see the feedback in the Backlight Client Response area under feedback.
Are there any more settings perhaps in LR that I need to set?

I made sure the email address is the same as the domain. It was not. I tried sending mail and still did not get.
I think because while the web person was setting up the domain on the ftp site, she hasn't removed the v.1 off the domain since she was not done.
I will ask her to. That should solve it...

Have you checked any spam folders?
It could have something to do with your host not allowing mail to be sent from forms. You can try asking them.
If none of that works I suggest sending Ben an email referencing this thread. Include Backlight admin credentials. He may also need FTP access

Have you updated to the latest version of Backlight (1.2.3)? You should have gotten the notice a day or two ago.

there’s now a link in the main Backlight dashboard specifically for testing email.

What's you mail configuration? Are you using 'mail' or 'smtp'?
And have you tried the new test email functionality in the 1.2.3 update? You'll find it on the main page when you first log in, under Special Links.
