Is there a way to disable search completely in Backlight 1.2.2?
I want my masthead to go all the way to the top of the browser window (without having the search icon.)
-I tried erasing all the items in "Edit Publisher Settings" but the magnifying glass still appears when testing my site.

are you using the Top Pallet?
if so, go to your page template > Top Pallet > Quick Search
otherwise, can you post a link to your site?
