I'm in SF, so not too far from the Peninsula ;-).  Please contact me by email to discuss your needs. Thanks!

Hey Dan, I'm also in SF, and just a head's up, I might need your help too! I haven't started yet, but it would be great to have a seasoned Backlight user nearby to get me off to a good start. Not so much in the design department, but more to keep me from making technical errors.

Compensation is a given (living in SF ain't cheap!), let's discuss when the time comes.

Thanks!

Daniel, sounds like you might have a workshop opportunity on your hands! ;-)

Backlight is so easy to use, I don't think that would be necessary :-)   Unless there is indeed a demand for this...

Re: looking for someone in the SF Bay Area (prefer Peninsula) to help

TBH, having someone walk you through the set up would be really helpful for those of us who know just enough to be dangerous.

For example, I had to search the forums to learn that the API Key required at the beginning could be any word/text (if I understood correctly) because i didn't see that info with the install directions. The directions only mention the API Key in regards to the LR publishing module.

Maybe a video of the installation from square one?

This we do have, from around the time we launched Backlight 1.0. Some of the details have changed, but the process remains the same. You can find the link at the top of our documentation, under "First Steps".
