I have noticed that if there is a search result over more than one site and you start a slideshow view, the slideshow stops after the last image of the first site or - if you start the slideshow at an other site, always after the last image of this site.

do you mean that if the search result is more than one page?
If you're using the slideshow presentation in your Search album template, then this is normal and acts just like an album page.
If you want your viewer to be able to click the next arrow and go through the entire search results, you could try changing the Search page album template to one that uses the Single-Image Pages presentation.
