I like the masonry style thumbnail grid, but would like to sort it differently. It seems to sort thumbnails according to Title. I would prefer to make my own sort using slug. Is there a way to do this?

If you're talking about the Galleries page, then you can change the sort method in Backlight's admin, under Backlight => Publisher => Top-level Galleries menu.

Thanks. I was having problems sorting the album set template grid, not just the Galleries page, which I already set up for a slug sort. Can a slug sort be set up for album sets, too? Had similar problems with iconic, not just masonry. They seem to want to sort on Title, while I want a sort of my choosing, which could be done with prefix to the slugs a,b,c,d, etc., for example.

Set the sort type for individual album set in Lightroom. Edit the album set and change sort order
