instructions should be in the Readme.txt file included with each download.
this blog post on updating from 1.1.1 should also help: http://theturninggate.net/2017/06/30/ba … available/

With the recent succession of update releases - 1.20a, 1.21, and now 1.22, all of which I've done, I wonder if I still need the old "standard" folders under Modules - standard-album, standard-album-set, standard-page, since I've got all the new pangolin folders?
Thanks.

If you're done with all of your old templates, you can remove them. Just keep the okapi-core folder in place; the admin still uses it.

Ok, got it.
Thanks.

It looks like I missed downloading the 1.2.1 version of the various Backlight components.
Is there a way to download the 1.2.1 versions from SendOwl or is it safe to go straight from 1.2.0 (which I'm in the process of updating the sites to that version) to 1.2.2?
Somehow I suspect it might not be with the changelog hinting at new features and possible database changes in 1.2.1.

Well, as it turns out...it looks like Matt and Ben's database update scripts are far more clever than I am!

And it probably would have helped reduce the anxiety a bit had I read this rather important line from the README...

Relatively painless upgrades (with the exception of self-inflicted stupidity such as the above!) is yet another reason to be happy with life in Backlight. And on a personal level...I'm utterly thrilled to finally know what in the hell an okapi and a pangolin is! That's another one off the bucket list...
Now the fun really begins...converting the templates to their pangolin counterparts and drooling over the new and clever things I can do with them!
