Navigation bar background color will not change

i tried changing the navigation background color in
navigation -> horizontal navigation -> background color.

none of the colors i select seem to change the background. however, changing the hover color seems to work fine....

thoughts?

Hey John,

what does it look like to you now? To me, the navigation background is transparent. the :hover color is sort of purple.

Have you tried clearing both template cache and browser cache?

Ah, I see why the nav background isn't changing. Your custom css has it set to transparent.
when I disable that in the inspector, the background turns red.

ok. i thought i had disabled that. that fixed it. (red was the test color). )blush(

thanks. i realized it may be easier if i saved the page, album etc as templates and started over since things weren't that complex.

that seems to work fine.
