Thumbnails on gallery shifted
I am not sure how to include a screen grab on this message board so I am forced to try to describe the condition that I am seeing.... first let me state that I am NOT seeing this on my Windows machine... I have tried Windows 10, 8, 7 Vista and XP on both IE and Chrome. Also , Chrome and Safari on my IPad works fine... I was at a clients, and, out of curiosity I went to my site, http://pkgphoto.ca to see how my site behaved.... Computer was a MAC... running OS X ver 10.9.5 and Safari 7.1.3 (9537.85.12.18). Home page looked fine.... Gallery Sets looked fine... BUT... when I opened a gallery. the thumbnails were shifted in the boxes about 60% to the right and 60% down. Thumbnails were only showing about 25% ,the upper left corner of the TN was in the lower right hand corner of the box.
I was only able to see this on one machine.
Unfortunately, I only looked at a couple of protected galleries and did not look at any unprotected galleries (of which there is a couple).
Comments please.....
Mat, Rod and Ben... I know that you have been on my site and have stated that you have not seen anything abnormal.
I was surprised to see this behavior on this machine.

I'm on a Windows machine and can see no problems.
That version of Safari is a couple of years old and may not support the flex-box css Matt is using for Backlight.
That's my guess anyway.

The public galleries I looked at are okay, can't say anything about the protected galleries....
But the Safari version 7.1.1 your client is using is rather outdated. The current version is 10.1.1.

Yep. I'd pin that on the outdated browser's lack of support for CSS transforms. That client should upgrade Safari. If, for whatever reason, the latest Safari won't run on their version of OS X, then download and start using the latest version of Chrome. By using a browser as old as that, they're not only experiencing a lesser version of the Web, but their also putting themselves at risk, as they're missing out on several years worth of security improvements.

Unfortunately, I am not in a position to dictate (or even suggest) how these machines get setup. They are using some kind of "DeepFreeze" software to ensure against outside attacks.
Not my business, or my place to interfere.

Unfortunate. It's stuff like this that convinces me the IT world is severely misguided in their approach of software and security. No good comes of trapping users on outdated, obsolete systems and software versions. Just my two cents, though.

Kevin, do you have CE4 Gallery? I suppose you could create exported and uploaded galleries in a different folder structure.
Or set up an installation of ttg-be and another top-level folder on the server and another instance of Publisher in Lightroom just for this client.

Or use a different layout. You might find that the masonry or justified grids work better for them.

I'll go ahead and add prefixed transform to the CSS for thumbnails in the upcoming 1.2.2 update. It might help in this case.

Sorry Guys, I lost track of this thread...just checked back today... This machine is/was used for a very specific use. Not really meant to be used for general internet browsing. This machine is used to deliver class room material in the form of Apple Keynote/MS Power Point presentations. When I saw this condition I thought that you may be interested.
Thanks for the attention that you gave to this condition.
