Emails not arriving

Hi,

For some reason emails aren't arriving any longer.

My website is https:// now. Would that cause the issue?

The email setting is mail, not SMTP. I created a test gallery and sent my myself an email. It didn't arrive.

I sent myself an email through my regular email client to test if the email addresses concerned are working. They are.

Any ideas?

Have you tried a forum search? This comes up every so often and you may find a solution there.

Did you recently change to https? Did the email problem start after the change or had you been receiving them?

https shouldn't factor into it.

I don't see any sendmail_path line in the php.ini file to edit.

Any ideas?

Ben, I tried adding the sendmail_path line to php.ini and tested and changed other settings. I can't get any emails. Not even the ones that should come to me and to me as the client.

Could you have a look to see if you can work out what's wrong, please?

If you haven't done so already, be sure to send Ben ttg-be admin login credentials. He may also need FTP login as well.

Hi Ben, Just wondering if you'd had a chance to look into why I'm not receiving CRG emails?

Any issues with the login details I emailed over?

I've been away for the last few days.  I'll have a look tonight.  In the mean time, have you contacted your host's technical support?
What happens after Backlight calls mail() is up to the environment that you're hosting in.

Of course.. CE4 and Backlight treat mail identically.  One possibly difference is that CE4 may send the user's IP address in a field, which *may* trip up spam mechanisms.  I'll look into this when I take a look tonight.

i have same trouble and after few test (with demo on) crg mailing is ok.
but mail sended are considered PHISHING because its some URL inside
(and maybe adress of sender not showed.)

my test with  crg settings DEMO MODE: ON  ( both mails send to client and photographer)

  • strangly on
    ...@hotmail.com      both mails are considered PHISHING and doesnt appear nowhere
    ...@hotmail.fr          both mails are spam classified but on mailbox
    this 2 accounts have exactly the same security option i check it

  • i test also my personnel mail adress associated to my provider
    ...@skynet.be         both mails are considered PHISHING and doesnt appear nowhere

  • i test on
    ..@gmail.com          the client mail are ok
                                and the mail to photographer are in spam

Than

  • whitch file contain the mail composition? 

  • this file only?  (../ttg-be/crg/application/dao/ResponseDAO.php)

  • other files?

  • how add user's ip in adress field to avoid spam classification? (my ip is dynamic ..  sad  )
