Pricing Schemes

Hi sorry if this has been posted but I can't seem to find it.

I was wondering if I have multiple price packages with X amount of photos to choose from is that something that the cart can do?

Ex.

Package 1 - 1 pose and group shot
Package 2 - 2 poses and group shot
Package 3 - 3 poses and group shot

Is there a way that when they choose the package to only allow the package # limit? so package 3 gives you 4 photos and only allow them to choose 4 photos and if they want more they need to choose another package?

Again sorry if this has already been posted

Thanks
Pat

Re: Pricing Schemes

You can create different packages for different needs. Each package is configured independently of the others.

Check out this gallery, and use the package button:
http://backlight.theturninggate.net/gal … t/01-cart/

When it comes up, you can choose either of two packages, Standard or Deluxe.

Is that roughly what you're wanted to achieve?

Re: Pricing Schemes

First create some products
Then create your packages, adding any of the products you created to each package. Create as many packages as you like.
Then create a pricing scheme and add the packages to the scheme.

It's basically the same as adding products to a pricing scheme, only your adding packages.

Re: Pricing Schemes

hi guys, so i was able to create the cart and packages, i was wondering is there a way to force the packages to pop up when you click on the cart icon on the picture? and then after they select the package they want have the extras pop up to select single photos etc? I'm not sure how to do it.

Thanks for always helping!

Re: Pricing Schemes

one last questions, since I messed up the cart, if you accidentally put in the wrong pricing scheme name, is there a way to replace it in the php? I couldn't seem to find it and now am rebuilding the whole site because I'm an idiot and can't spell lol

Re: Pricing Schemes

If you're using Publisher, just edit the album and change the name.
If not, change it in Lightroom, export, and upload the gallery's index.php files.

Re: Pricing Schemes

Include the photos in the export. But you should only need to upload the index.php files.
If the gallery is paginated, you'll have more than one to upload.

Re: Pricing Schemes

I suppose you could just edit the current index.php files and change the pricing scheme directly. It's pretty easy to find in the files. Us a plain text editor to make any changes.
