I have translated a new localisation and called it "Swedish".
But how can I assign it?

Solved! Well partly solved - because I can´t get the breadcrumb to not say "Your albums" - even though everything else is translated to swedish now!

If you mean the Your Albums text that appears on client response client pages, change that in Backlight > Publisher > Settings > Breadcrumbs
