I have this site http://pideja.ca/nat/ in development. The desktop first page has a masthead (image) and two navigation links, Fr and En. For now, only the En side works.
On the desktop, looks ok (for now). But on the iPhone, and I presume on the tablet, the masthead-image looks really small when in vertical (portrait) orientation but good in horizontal (landscape).
Any way to control this? I am trying to write some CSS but as of now, no luck.

looks like you've got 120px of left-right padding on the masthead

I set the left-right padding to 0, looks ok. The main problem is that with that image, in portrait orientation, creates a white background that is very white for a long time! I previously had a bar with the identity at the top of the page, at the right of the menu. How can I get it back?

Look in the Masthead section of the template. Toward the bottom: Identity on Mobile

I just checked: it's turned on. The very first time I did the cross-over from the CE4 version, I had an identity bar (black) with the menu (three bars) on the left and the identity in with on the bar.
By the way, this morning the mobile image is back to "postage stamp" size. Looking into what happened.
UPDATE: The image display on the Home page on Safari and Firefox is ok, but the one on Chrome is ridiculously small! I have an iPhone SE.

Try the usual:
Make sure you're editing the correct page template
Clear template and browser cache
