Question on Web Design Created by Backlight

Hello,
I am a CE4 user and was thinking of upgrading to Backlight before creating my new website. Is there an option to create a webpage where the clicked image opens via highslide but the background page is not completely hidden?  Partial opacity of the background would suffice.

This was done in earlier versions and more recently in the CE4 Client Response Gallery.  I find it more compatible with my customers who won't want to look through an entire gallery by scrolling left or right.  The CE4 CRG Highslide makes it easy for them to know how to close each image and browse the entire set at once.

Thanks,
  Scott

Re: Question on Web Design Created by Backlight

Highslide is not part of Backlight. Currently, Photoswipe is being used, as well as single html large image pages.

There is no provision for an opacity setting to the image page background other than through custom css.

Try setting an rgba color value in the Overlay color picker, i.e. rgba(0,0,0,0.5) would be black at 50% opacity.

Somewhere along the way, we seem to have lost our alpha slider in the color pickers. I'll need to look at that.
