Download has wrong resolution

Hi
In the Album Settings > Large Image Presentation (Presentation Type Photoswipe) I have Image Sharing and Image download "no" selected.

In the Album Setting > Image Settings > Photos for Download I have "Create custom download rendition via Publisher" selected.
Then it will create photos in the desired resolution (640px to 640px). I find in directory "photos-for-download".

But the download has the higher resolution (1280px to 1280px) of the image displayed in the browser.

The download in IE and firefox is done via the context menu Save graphics.
But in IE there is showing a special button "image menu" with which the smaller resolution is downloaded.

Re: Download has wrong resolution

Image download needs to be set to yes for downloads to be enabled. otherwise, it's just the regular right-click and "Save Image", which is always available anyway.
(you should actually be using the image download feature to make available images of higher resolution than that of those already being displayed in the album.)

With image download enabled you should be seeing the image menu button on the large images in all browsers.

Can you post a link to an album that's not working as you expect?

Also note that if you make any changes to image size in the album template you'll need to republish the images.

Re: Download has wrong resolution

I probably confused something. I thought I could disable the download with the right mouse button.
Now I understand the principle and everything works great. The image menu button I now switched off.

Many Thanks.

But the link to my site I still send gladly PhotoArt by RH
