Hello,

So far I use XML Sitemaps.com so as to provide a sitemap to Google.

Now when I want to create a sitemap software finds me 419 broken links, that is to say, the galleries and images.

Does anyone have any idea of the problem?

This is something for Ben to look at. Seems like an .htaccess issue to me.

The URL for your single-page gallery is http://phoneographie.com/galleries/01-c … mbodge-001, but the link to your next image is http://phoneographie.com/galleries/01-c … single.php, which does not exist. Coming from the gallery page, the second image is at http://phoneographie.com/galleries/01-c … mbodge-002.

This is caused by a combination of two things:
1. .htaccess not working on your site, or at least in albums

2. The prev and next links on single pages not detecting this, and providing links in the format of:

http://phoneographie.com/galleries/01-cambodge/2-cambodge-autre-voyage/ph-phnom-penh-cambodge-002-single.php

and not the fallback:

http://phoneographie.com/galleries/01-cambodge/2-cambodge-autre-voyage/single.php?id=ph-phnom-penh-cambodge-002

We'll have a fix for the latter in Backlight 1.1.

The link is also broken when You access the gallery directly with javascript disabled.

Hi Philippe, thanks for the login. It looks like your site is running with FastCGI, although I can't tell for sure because phpinfo() is not allowed on your host.
I have edited the htaccess setting for albums to handle FastCGI, and now the following link works without error:
http://testphoneo.vuedailleurs.com/gall … single.php

As this is your test domain, the same fix will need to be applied to your main site. The instructions can be found under 'You see a message 'No Input File Specified'' on this page: http://backlight.theturninggate.net/doc … cess_files
I'm happy to make the change for you on your main site if you'd like, but I assume I'll need a different login.

Thank you for doing the necessary on my test site.
Unfortunately this does not seem to work for my main site. At first glance I think I have followed the instructions, but without any positive result there are always broken links. Here is the address: http://phoneographie.com

The usernames and passwords are the same as what I have already sent you by mail.

I also have another site (make with CE4) that I'm converting to Backlight, could you please take a look at it?

Same ID and same password.

Good morning Philippe, it looks like you just needed the final step of updating album files on http://phoneographie.com/. I ran that update, and now your single links are working, such as http://phoneographie.com/galleries/01-c … single.php.

Single links are already working on your test site, e.g. http://test.vuedailleurs.com/galleries/ … single.php
