Google found my image

I was always a bit sceptical how well Google would index my images. A client provided a name of an image and a quick google search provided the link to the single image page. Yeah! Happy! Great job, Matt!

Now I really have to consistently name and tag all my images to get more Google hits and sales ;-)

Re: Google found my image

Thanks! The gallery is working as intended then. Always a roll of the dice based on best guesses/interpretations of what information Google actually provides for it's search algorithms. They keep a lot of it secret to prevent black hats from abusing SEO. But with Backlight's galleries, I was trying something new in better leveraging single-image pages to ensure that search engines, site-mapping utilities, etc. would have better access to, and awareness of full-size images. Glad to hear that it's working out. big_smile
