Hello;
I am following the youtube-film "Backlight First Look" and trying to follow.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtzGfUiC6kU
In my just downloaded Backlight-111.zip there are no files called .htacces or index.php? I use Transmit as FTP-client and have set it to show invisible files, but they are not here.
So after uploading I can log in to the admin userface:
http://hjaerta.se/kunder/backlight
But I can't see the page http://hjaerta.se/kunder/
Any clues?

So I just repeated every single step that he does in the film. I even downloaded Coda just to be sure. I made it show invisible files and folders - still nothing?
How is it that every single time I need to manage this thing, I spend whole days investigating babysteps?

The index.php and .htaccess files are included (and needed) with the Pages module. Did you purchase Backlight + Pages?

Halleluja!!!! Thanks!
No, I did not purchase Pages. Do I need that?

You only need Pages if you need to make pages other than albums and album sets. Like a Home page, an About page, a Policies page, etc.

I don't need that. All we need is to be able to use the Client Response Gallery function. Seem to demand a nobel prize to achieve that?
Rod, any idea as to why we see http://hjaerta.se/kunder/backlight but not http://hjaerta.se/kunder/
All advice greatly appreciated!!

What is the Kunder folder supposed to contain?
Your Galleries page is here: http://hjaerta.se/kunder/galleries/
however, it looks like it's missing the style sheets.
Looking at the page source, the page is looking for the style sheets in
http://hjaerta.se/kunder/backlight/backlight/
However, the files are located in:
http://hjaerta.se/kunder/backlight/
what have you entered in Backlight settings for Site URL? It looks like it should be
http://hjaerta.se/kunder/

Thank you SO much!
Now I can actually see a page. Or is it a gallery that I see?

looks like you've got it working. That is your Galleries page. It's actually an album set. This is where you publish your albums and album sets.
In Lightroom, if you haven't done it already, you need to set up Publisher to publish to the galleries/ folder.
If you have client albums and album sets that you don't want to be publicly visible, you can hide them from album sets. This is done in Lightroom when you set up or edit an album or album set. Look under the Features tab and check the "Hide from Album Set" box.
