Re: Pages problem

Hi Terry, are you on Bluehost?  If so, they seem to have intermittent issues with add-on modules.  I am not sure what ionCube Loader is used for.  Backlight certainly doesn't use it.  To disable this on Bluehost:

1. Login to cpanel on your site
2. Click on PHP Config
3. Look for a set of checkboxes for additional modules (I'm not able to look at my Bluehost cPanel to confirm exactly what it's called)
4. If you see an item for ionCube, then deselect it
5. Click save (or equivalent)

Re: Pages problem

Ben,
Yes I am on Bluehost.
I found and unchecked ionCube in the PHP Config page for 5.4, 5.4 Single php.ini, and 5.4 FastCGI. And now it works!
Thank you very much!!
Terry

Re: Pages problem

Hmmm. I'm on Bluehost and thankfully I've not seen that error. I've never even done anything with "ionCube". Do I need to worry about this down the line?

Thanks.

Re: Pages problem

hi Ben,

Just as another data point for Bluehost
I'm on php 5.6 (Single php.ini) with IonCube checked. Things are working fine for me.

Re: Pages problem

Hi Ben,

I'm on Bluehost also with 5.6 and IonCube checked. No worries for me either.

Re: Pages problem

Thanks for the further datapoints.  I'll enable all modules and see how it goes on Bluehost.  If I encounter errors I'll take it up with their support.

I had encountered error messages in the past, but only intermittently.   They may be non-errors, in that Backlight reports on everything, including warnings and notices.
