I Think I must be having a dumb moment.
I have never need the use of a download option until now. I have checked the download option (and added 2000x2000 sRGB) in the crg web module in Lightroom. I have then added this template to the templates in ttg-be. I have then published an album with this template using Lightroom Publisher plugin .
The Problem
I can not see how to download image there is no button. Can anyone help

do you see the icon in Lightroom?
Did you check the Display Download Button on the Grid checkbox?
Is the download icon visible on the large image pages (a link to a gallery always helps)

Thanks Rod... as I thought having a dumb moment!
Solution
In lightroom CRG web gallery under 'Appearance' in the sub catagory 'image download' check 'Enable image downloads' and 'Display download buttons on the grid'
I had it selected in the output section but not in appearance.
I have not had time to export a new gallery and test but could you tell me what text you need to add to the 'colour palette' 'sidebar' text for description of button?

Not following. Did you want to put some explanatory text telling your clients how to download?
You can put anything you like in the sidebar text.
