Is the Client Response Galleries have an search capability ?

no. I believe CR albums, being by their nature private, are not search enabled.
The search function is global, so that means if CR albums were searchable, results would show up to any public visitor.

I am looking for an online gallery solution to show my image in an image bank.
The galleries will be not private, all public, visitors would check the images they are interested in, and then send their selection form such a quote by explaining the use they would make of the images.

I thought purchased Backlight + Customer response ((which I would integrate into my existing website)), but the search function would have been interesting

At present, the Client Response Add-on is designed to facilitate one-on-one interactions over a set of images, with a specific client. While there is some flexibility in how you can use the galleries, the add-on has not been designed around the "photo bank" concept, so may not be ideal for that purpose.

OK Matthew and thank you for that clarification.
So, is it possible to use Cart-add on to add images to basket by a visitor (not connected) and instead of having a button "proceed to payment" have a button to send the selection to a request for quote.

I ask this because I sell licenses to use images for regional institutions or other organism, and I do not want to fixed rates, because according to the number of photos and according to the requested use (web, print, TV... image size, territory of Use, time ....) it's too many parameters to take into account and I would rather send quotes to applicants.

With our Cart Add-on, you may use the Invoiced Checkout option to accept orders without payment. You may then followup in whatever way you prefer.

there must be a price or the cart will throw an error. But zero is an acceptable price. So the cart should do what you want. I whipped up a test gallery for you check out:

And you can also add extra fields (required or not required) to the cart checkout where you can request things like what kind of usage clients are looking for.
I just added such a field if you want to see
