Hi, firstly I know I have a lot of galleries, but, I have found that the mobile view of my sites galleries now has crawled to a halt.
http://www.timelessweddingimages.com.au … neak-peek/
I'm looking for any suggestions that may help resolve this issue.
Will running something like EWWW optimizer do anything with the image sizes as well or should I change the template and republish them all.
Any help would be great as its now not usable on mobile devices.

As a thought on this, I was thinking to break my galleries into years rather than all on the one autoindex.
So for example you go into my wedding gallery and it lists:
2016 2015 2014 2013 2012 weddings etc.
You then click on that year to bring up the wedding for that year.
How do I go about doing that?
Would I need a autoindex for the top menu, then an autoindex for each respective year, then a gallery template for each year?

I don't know that it's just a mobile problem. The site ground my desktop browser to a halt. There are a lot of images/galleries all using the masonry layout, which uses a lot of resources.
one other very strange thing. Did you know if you mistype a URL on your site, instead of going to a 404 Page not found error, you're redirected to the official Disneyland site.
It could be that your site has been hacked and that's why things are slow?

You could create album sets for each year and then just drag albums into their respective year.

Excellent about the album sets.
Have started to add them into sets under the Initial album set, how do I make the album visible?
I know its a basic question... Sorry,

Edit the album in Publisher. Under the Features tab, uncheck "Hide from Album Set"

Ok have put all the galleries in Album sets and it works well.
My only issue now is that for each album set, when I have the cover image set to Random it shows a broken image Icon. I can set it manually which works well but I would like my gallerys to look difference each time someone enters them.
Is this user error or a bug as I use Random on other Gallerys sets ok.

You will need to use custom images for sets, as Lightroom does not allow album sets to be created with their own thumbnails.

And if you do want random images, go to the Library module and export some representative images, sized for thumbnails, and upload them to the respective album set's thumbnails folder.
Otherwise, choose the cover image from the drop-down in the Basic Settings tab
