Hi,
I getting the same result on my site as Leuvenaar230. The Vegas slideshow is not showing any photos, the other selections do work. I republished my photos, but no change.

I have the same problem after the update to 1.02 - worked great before the update and now it is gone. www.TerranceAlexander.com

Go through the Vegas settings in the album template, they may need re-entering

I played with all the settings and switched between all the presentations, nothing helped. I just feel this update wasn't ready for distribution. This is like one step forward and two steps backwards. Matthew, are you reading this post?

I also tried updating to Backlight 1.0.4 release 3 but I'm also not able to get the Vegas Slideshow to work.
I'm sure Matt will have it fixed quickly, he always does.

Thank you Rod.
Also, Flickity is going wild through my images when the mouse is not above the pictures. Is this a certain setting or something else?

I've not played with Flickity yet

It just happened that my vegas show worked again within my image gallery (Portret) but still not for my homepage.

Check your captions for apostrophes, as these break code. We'll need to sanitize these in a future version, I suppose. In the meantime, you can escape captions with a backslash, i.e. "The Devil\'s Rock."

Thank you, it's working again. Strange it did work under theater 1.01 . I changed nothing to the pictures before going to theater 1.02.
Anyway, cool that it is solved so quickly.

Matthew,
I've checked my captions and I don't have any with apostrophes in my slideshow. Is there anything else that might be causing the vegas slideshow not to run for me.
Thanks,
Bob

Check the caption of the photo "1950 Cadillac Flying Goddess". It contains a line break between 'Cadillac' and 'Flying'.

Daniel,
Alright, I might have missed one. In my defense I was looking for apostrophes.
Thanks again for helping me out.
Bob
You don't need a defence, Bob
First I looked for apostrophes too and then I noticed this strange linebreak... Great that it works for you now.

For the next update, I'll try to see whether there's anything I can do to make the Vegas captions more bulletproof. Sorry this update caused so much confusion.

Matt - thanks for the solution - it did resolve the problem I had.

I had the same problem. As Matt has said in the past, check the forum. Indeed, I had an apostrophe lingering in my caption. Thanks, folks! I'm delighted again.
