I have created a series of sizes of the original image and put these into folders underneath the main gallery: in this case i am showing the 'original photos-for-purchase" and in the folder is: and in that folder are two files: index.html and .htaccess.
The question is, do I need to have these two files in the other folders, here is the sm800 folder: without the two files??

Hi Gary, yes, it's best to copy those two files to any directories that have photos for purchase.
This should prevent direct download by somebody who tries to visit a URL like http://yoursite.com/galleries/album-one … k-2539.jpg. I suggest testing URLs like that to verify that users can not directly view or download the images.

Thanks, Ben.
