Localization

Hi,

Why close this topic http://community.theturninggate.net/vie … hp?id=6755 after asking for information about which part of Backlight should be made localizable?

Anyway, when switching to full screen view, the message and the button briefly displayed at the top of the screen should be localized.

xxxxx is now full screen - Exit full screen (Esc)

Or are they?

Re: Localization

I'm guessing because you advised others to hack the code. This often doesn't work out well. Customer support is challenging enough with a code base we are familiar with.

Noted on the extra text, thanks.

Re: Localization

The text you're looking for seems to be handled by the browser.  For example, I see 'Press [esc] to exit full screen' in Chrome, and no message in Safari.  That text is nowhere to be found in the Backlight source code.

Re: Localization

Correct. So there's nothing to localize. :-) .
