Just checking if it's worth upgrading from CE4 to Backlight.
In the CE4 CRG, when publishing through Publisher there was no support for "Filename with suffix", only the filename can show up (even though in Lightroom, if you choose "Filename with suffix" to display in the cell, it worked ok).
Has this changed in Backlight? Is "Filename with suffix" now supported?
In the selection gallery, where there is a complete sequence of images, then cell number corresponds to the image numbers.
But in a download gallery, in which the client's selected images no longer form a continuous number sequence, the cell numbers no longer correspond to the downloadable image numbers.

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. Handling of file names and numbering should be consistent with CE4. Cell numbering has nothing to do with image file names.

are you sure. Have you tried the {FILENAME} metadata token?
From the Metadata Tokens documentation:
File Names and Paths
Filename The filename – without path and without extension – of the exported copy
FILENAME Like Filename, but includes the extension

In Lightroom, if I choose 'Filename number suffix' under Client Response Setup>Image Info>Metadata 2, only the image number in the filename shows up in the cell.
For example, if the filename is Myimage_002, then just 002 will show in the cell.
But the Metadata Token only allows the whole filename to appear in the cell.
We've covered this before. I wanted to see if this has changed in Backlight and to see it's worth upgrading.

Oh, by suffix I thought you meant file extension.
Take a look at the Metadata token documentation, that should answer your question

Ah, no change then.
A request for a 'Filename number suffix' Metadata Token to be added in Publisher.

Hi Rob, in implementing this, I found that it's possible to do so now using Lua tokens. See my reply here: http://community.theturninggate.net/vie … 792#p39792
