In CE4 you could adjust the order of the the way the albums displayed based on the slug name but it appears we have lost that control in backlight as all albums within an album set appear to be order alphabetically based on album name and I see no ability to adjust or change that behavior.

You can set the order preferences for each album set. In Lightroom, edit the album set and in the Base Settings, look for Album Order at the bottom. There is something like eight choices for order preference.
To control the order in a top-level gallery (like your Galleries page) go to Backlight > Publisher > Top-level Galleries and click on the top-level gallery you wish to control.
Click Edit Properties. You'll see setting for Order Albums By

Ok that works for the album sets but what about the main gallery?
