I've been working on a new Backlight website and thought it was ready to start building out the albums and then discovered a problem on the menu on the Galleries page. When I click on the About or Contact buttons it says page not found on the site.
I noticed on the menu on the other pages where it works fine the navigation button goes to "terrancealexander.com/?page=about" but on the galleries page it tries to go to "terrancealexander.com/about/". The same is true of the other buttons on the menu bar. Did I miss a step along the way somewhere? I tried changing the menu navigation on the galleries page to match the others but as soon as the site refreshes it reverts back.

are you using the same menu set for the galleries page album set template as you are for the rest of the site?

as far as I can tell - not sure where I would assign a different menu to the album set template.

You would do that in the page template that governs the album template.
But if you've not created any other menu sets then it's a moot point.
If it's not a menu set issue, then it's probably a .htaccess file issue; something Ben or Matt may need to look into.
But you could try updating the album files:
backlight > Publisher > Update album files

I tried updating the album files as suggested - still the same result. I also emptied the cache with no change. I'll wait to see if Ben or Matt have an idea. Thanks.

It sounds like the htaccess setting in Backlight isn't working properly for your host.
Who are you hosting with? Can you email me a Backlight admin login so that I can try and alter the htaccess setting so that page links work within galleries?
