Social Media?

CE4 makes it easy to add links to Social Media such as Twitter & Facebook.

I do not see that in Backlight. Are there plans to add this, or should I go ahead and code my on HTML to do it?

Re: Social Media?

I'm pretty sure Matt's mentioned plans for that somewhere either on the blog, forum, or Facebook group.

Re: Social Media?

I'm going to put something in. But if you'd like, you can pretty easily do something with PHPlugins in the meantime.

Re: Social Media?

I'd like to see this feature too. Could somebody post an example of how to accomplish this for us code impaired individuals? Thanks!

Re: Social Media?

What's a good approach to creating a PHPlugins script to do this?

Re: Social Media?

no script needed. Just place the markup in the ttg_footer_top hook and add any custom css needed.
You can see the markup Mike used by just looking at his page's source code. Click on the custom css file in the source code to see the css being used.
But it Matt is planning on adding it, it might just be easier to wait.

If I have time in the next couple of days I'll try to put a short tutorial together. But I might not be able to get to it for a couple of weeks.

Or maybe Mike will see this and write it up.
