Thought I saw how this was implemented in the CRG documentation but I can't find it. I have this enabled in the album template but it doesn't seem to be working. Or, as is often the case, I've missed the obvious.

Image download is as it has been. Enable in the album template under Large Image a Presentation. The download icon will appear on the large image Photoswipe pages beneath the share icon.
The new feature, as Matt outlined in the blog, is control/command clicking on thumbnails to download images
