I would like to have a different identity plate image for different Gallery Pages. For example for "Aegean" different from "Pensacola Bay"
I know that the identity plate image is defined in the Backlight Standard Page. I have cloned and built different Standard Pages, i.e. Contact Standard Pate, and About Standard page, which works fine from the top nav menu.
BUT I dont see how to have different Standard Pages for the different galleries. i.e Aegean Standard Page, Vernice Standard page and so on.

define the masthead in the page template that the album is using.
Create page templates (not to be confused with Pages), each using a different masthead.
Create album templates, each using the appropriate page template for the masthead you want to use.
Assign album templates to albums that need different mastheads.
