Hi, I have a chat application that I wish to be triggered when some goes to my gallery page.
As its not a "normal" page in wordpress that I can just drop the required HTML on the pages code, How do I go about adding it?

you can add html directly into the page copy fields. But this is usually for visual items such as links or images or buttons.
You can try adding yours to the page copy and see what happens. Otherwise, you'll need to use phplugins to insert the code where needed. Where on the page does the code need to go?

The code can go pretty much anywhere on the page from what I understand
Avada is a weird theme in the way it works which is causing me issues with this chat app. Have the problem resolved on all pages now though except the gallery and autoindex.
I just tried adding the code to the page sidebar but still no go.
Where are the page copy fields you mentioned?

Oh wait,,, oops. I turned the sidebar on (my bad). it works. Kewl. so adding the HTML code to the sidebar has resolved the issue.

In the plug-in they're in the Color Palette control pane

If using Publisher, you can choose to use the text you added to the template, or add text in the Page Copy fields in the create/edit dialog boxes. Or you can choose to use both the copy you add in the album and the copy in the template.
If you're using Publisher and this is code you want on every page, you can place it in the sidebar area in Lightroom. Then every time you create a new album, choose the appropriate option that shows only the template text in the sidebar.
