the icon symbols on the full screen fail

The icons for ZOOM, ETC. fail to just a gibberish including the Forward Backward symbols.
Here is an example:

Re: the icon symbols on the full screen fail

those are broken web fonts. They're showing up on your album pages too. You could try clicking the "Update Album Files" link on the front page of the Backlight Dashboard.
I'm guessing there's a missing .htaccess file or some needed code in the .htaccess file is missing.

If updating album files doesn't work, I suggest sending an email to Ben with Backlight Admin access credentials.

Re: the icon symbols on the full screen fail

Updating the files isn't going to help. This is what's thrown to your console:

"Font from origin 'http://garyphotosgallery.com' has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://garylittle.com' is therefore not allowed access.
http://garylittle.com/favicon.ico Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)"

So the problem seems to be that you've got some domain masking going on here. Rather than garylittle being the actual domain, it appears to be redirecting rather flimsily to garyphotosgallery.

For example, when I visit the same page at http://garyphotosgallery.com/galleries/Africa/, everything loads just fine.

You may be able to use the information here to solve it:
http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … s_creation

Otherwise, you may need to get in touch with your host. Find out how they're handling your domains, and ask them how to resolve cross-origin access issues between them.

Re: the icon symbols on the full screen fail

I think the problem is solved. I  clicked the "Update Album Files" link on the front page of the Backlight Dashboard as directed by Rod. Now all the symbols are present. Thanks for the "vacation day" support.

Re: the icon symbols on the full screen fail

When I visit http://garylittle.com/, your fonts are broken. Some pages are attempting to reference your fonts CSS at:

http://garylittle.com/galleries/galleries/pcolabay/sunrisesunset/backlight/modules/okapi-core/static/css/font-awesome.min.css

Should be:

http://garylittle.com/backlight/modules/okapi-core/static/css/font-awesome.min.css

Gary, have you updated your site URL in Backlight's settings?

Re: the icon symbols on the full screen fail

I think you may have tried right in the middle of me transferring the garylittle.com domain from Godaddy to Bluehost. It took awhile with quite a few steps and during this time it seemed as though things went wrong when trying to view the site. At the conclusion of the domain transfer it all looks fine now.
Please try again, Mathew, and see if the fonts links are OK.
I appreciate this.
