i'd like the photo title to show under the thumbnail. Under the enlarged image, i'd like the title and caption.
in BL, under thumbnail metadata 01, i have {Title}.
under photos caption i have {Title}. {Caption}
The caption shows up under the enlarged photo, but not the title. Nothing shows under the thumbnails.
How do i fix this?

Did you re-publish your album after making these changes? You should only need to re-publish the metadata, not the images; double-click the publisher instance in Lightroom to enable the metadata-only option. It's a time-saver.

Did you try clearing browser cache? Template cache?
Can you post a link to an album?

i cleared the browser cache. the enlarged photo still only shows the caption, not the title. here is one of the albums. http://www.joliverbrooks.com/galleries/ … teraction/

I'm showing File name and caption on my large images using this in the Photos Caption field:
{Filename} | {Caption}
and it works fine
I also tried what your doing: {Title}. {Caption}
And that worked too.
If you make any change at all in metadata fields, whether in Backlight or in Lightroom, you need to republish the images (using the metadata only option). So the first thing I'd try is republishing. Make sure that the "Push metadata" option is checked and not just the "Publish Thumbnails" option.
