When I load the site on a tablet or fone, the menu items i.e. Galleries About Contact Search, do not show up. there is no way to get further into the site.
On desktop all works fine.

the menu you see on the desktop does not show up on mobile devices. Instead there's a hamburger icon at the top left or top right. Click on that and the tray containing the navigation should slide or fade in.
If you don't see that icon, make sure you've assigned navigation to a tray. In you page template, go to Navigation, Trays and make sure Display is set to on Mobile and assign navigation to tray 01 if you're using a one or two column layout. Assign to tray 01 or 02 if using a three column layout.
