Re: Error loading Gallery

this looks like web engine code. Have you tried exporting and uploading again?

Re: Error loading Gallery

Yes I have, several times.  I thought that there may be a corrupted image,  so I reduced the number of images.  Might this have something to do with Windows 10... I just upgraded a couple of weeks a go!

Re: Error loading Gallery

shouldn't have anything to do with Windows 10< I'm running Windows 10 without any issues.
Could be that the web engine got corrupted. Try deleting it and reinstalling.

Re: Error loading Gallery

Is this now happening with every gallery you export?
It could be a Lightroom issue. Have you tried resetting the Lightroom preferences file? This can often fis otherwise inexplicable Lightroom weirdness.

Re: Error loading Gallery

I tried exporting a gallery from a completely different machine, thus a different install of both lightroom and ttg plugin.
smaller galleries have a tendency to work, but not always.   This is a weird problem and I am getting very frustrated.  I have compared the index.php file and the mobile.php file from a failing gallery to a good gallery and there is a major difference...no similarity at all!!!
I will try reseting the Lightroom preferences.
I am close to throwing in the towel!!!

Thanks again

Re: Error loading Gallery

And this just started happening after having been working for a long time?

Normally, that code shows up in Lightroom and is due to an installation error. I seem to remember it happening online before, but it's been a long time (and the form search function isn't the greatest)

If you want to try an experiment, export a gallery, zip it up and email it to me. I'll upload it to my test space and see if it works. If it does, you may have server issues. If it doesn't.... well we could go from there

Re: Error loading Gallery

It seemed to appear all at once.  I did a couple of smaller galleries... 4 or 5 images each, and they were ok.  Then this gallery at 24 images (Failed)...  I will try exporting a smaller gallery that faisl and send it to you!   Thanks

Re: Error loading Gallery

Matt,
Kevin discovered it was the guest password he was using.
It looks like this was triggered by the guest password being six digits. No letters, just numbers. Five digits was ok. Seven digits was ok. But six? All hell breaks loose.

Re: Error loading Gallery

Best that I can figure out is that I used a password that was all digits.

for example     "201608"

I have a gallery up that works...

Re: Error loading Gallery

LOL     I was just sending the last post when your post came in.....

Thanks a ton for your help and extremely fast response.

Thanks to Matt as well.

I have really got to rethink the move to BACKLIGHT...  Just a tad out of reach for me at the moment.

Re: Error loading Gallery

Hi guys,

That's an issue we've seen before. The solution is to include letters in the password. To be safe, begin the password with a letter, rather than a number. Frankly, I have no idea why this is a problem, but it's probably something to do with PHP interpreting the password as a value, rather than a string, and then headaches.

Cheers,
Matt

Thanks Matt

The customer had chosen the password and I was filling in the blanks.
