I have a collection in CE4 Publisher of about 275 images. Two of these images will not upload for some reason. I tried exporting them as dng and then reimporting them, but they still will not upload.
I get a "Can't update this collection" error.
Error uploading rendition.
Unable to complete this action.

All of the other images upload without issue. Any suggestions?

Have you tried publishing just those images in their own albums?
Who are you hosting with? I think others have had a similar issue with GoDaddy when publishing lots of images.
Anything special about these images? Do the file names conform to standards (no spaces, special characters, punctuation)?

I have not tried publishing these 2 images separately. I am hosted with GoDaddy, and they have corrected the DoS issues for my IP address, since I can upload several hundred images with no issue.
My photos generally have fairly long names with date, time, original Nikon name, and sometimes a hyphen followed by "edit" (all "legal" characters), but this is an older set that have standard Nikon naming. The photos that will not upload are from my old CoolPix 8800 and are jpg. However many of the images in the collection are from that camera.
I also noticed that these 2 images could not be moved around the Publisher collection for some reason (set at "Custom Order"). I ended up removing them from the collection. After uploading the rest, as I mentioned, I exported them as dng and reimported them. They still would not upload. I get the error almost immediately upon attempting to publish.
This has never happened before. Very strange.

Have you tried saving the images in other formats, like TIFF?

Just tried TIFF and they "Published" with no issue. Strange!
Thanks for the suggestion. I was on the right track, just picked DNG instead
