I've just tried to install and configure Backlight and Publisher for the first time and almost immediately run into problems.
I'm using Lightroom CC 2015.5 Release
Whenever I try to create anError performing function.
Unable to complete the action.
Headers: { [error] => { [errorCode] => "badURL" }
}
I also get this when I go into Lightroom Publishing Manager and try to check the authentication of the Publisher API details.
I have changed the pernissions of the files in my webspace to 777 and am still having problems.
What should the API URL be?
Thanks

I solved the problem by adding http:// before my API URL. Authentication now works.

Is everything else working then?

Thank you for your response Rod, I simply forgot to precede my URL with http://
Everything else seems fine.

It doesn't help that the browser world has dropped protocols from address bars, making it easy to forget that URLs really do need http:// or https://
