Hallo, first of all thank you for Backlight. It is so much easier to use.
I think you will have great success with this programm. Now my Question:
Is it possible to hide the filename in large image presentation?

sorry , wrong Topic

sorry, is this a Backlight question or a CE4 Gallery question?
In Backlight, by default the Large Image caption is, I believe {Caption}
In CE4 go to Image Info and make your settings there. If using Publisher, also go to Output Settings > Publisher Settings

Did you republish the album?
You can check the "Push metadata without...." checkbox in Publisher settings to make republishing go faster.
If that's not it, then be sure to post a link to an album

Actually, it looks like that the filename is the fall back in case no other metadata is supplied or if the field used is empty.

So if don't want the file name showing, use Title or Caption and supply a title or caption. I don't see a way to disable the file name showing when no metadata is used.

That was also a CE4 issue that I was never able to find a workaround for.

It's not an issue, it's sound design.
The slideshow pulls its caption from the image's alt attribute. The alt attribute is used to associate textual (search and seo accessible) information with an image, and if the image link is broken or the image is unrenderable (due to device or format restrictions, etc.), the alt content is displayed in place of the image. Any image appearing on the web should have its alt attribute filled, period.
