I'm going to buy Backlight and was wandering if there is any benefit to ordering
"Backlight + Pages" when I already own "Pages" from CE4 Web Publishing Bundle?
2nd question: I want Backlight, but also want to keep the functionality of the many albums, such as slideshows, Client Response Gallery, Stage and TTG Theme for Wordpress from CE4. How does Backlight integrate with older CE4 features?
-I don't mind if I have to start from scratch and republish what I already have online. ..Thanks!

Backlight is a complete departure from the CE series. There are no more Lightroom web engine plug-ins. So CE4 Pages is irrelevant with Backlight.

Those modules are on the way. Backlight does not integrate with CE4 in any way. Well, other than when you migrate albums from CE4 Publisher to Backlight control.

Thanks for the answer, Rod! That's exactly what I wanted to know.
I must have the abilities of CE4 (CRG and I use Stage to show html5 video). So, it looks like I should wait to move over to Backlight. I'll be among the rest of happy customers curiously waiting for those features to make their way into Backlight development.

If you plan on moving to Backlight anyway, it doesn't hurt to get it now and get familiar with it. I'm also waiting on Stage, CRG, Cart, and WordPress before I make a complete change over. So I'm doing lots of testing in a sub-domain. Take a look: backlight.barbeephoto.com.

I did take a look at your site earlier today. Nice!
As a working photographer and videographer I'll keep using CE4, for now. And I'll get Backlight, today and start a Backlight subdomain. -Thanks for your knowledge and suggestions.

So is ce4 client response also irrelevant, as in Backlight client response is completely new and needs to be 're'purchased?

correct. No CE4 plug-ins are compatible with Backlight. Backlight is something completely different.
I believe there is still a discount if moving from CE4 CRG to Backlight Client Response. Go to the download page for your CE4 CRG. There is a text file detailing the discount.

As Rod says.
Backlight is a full departure from Lightroom's Web module, so all things CE4 are irrelevant.
