On my iPad and iPhone, an album set using the Iconic layout breaks the masthead. It's just a big, tall dark gray area with the album set text and thumbnails below.
Switching back to Descriptive brings back the masthead.
see this page: http://backlight.barbeephoto.com/galleries/other-set/ on an iPhone or iPad. Curious if it appears the same on other devices.

Never mind. Hmm. After waiting a while I refreshed the page on both devices and it's working fine. I'd refreshed multiple times before but posting, but now it works.
Nothing to see here.
Move along.

Maybe I spoke too soon. It's happening again, but now it's on all my album set pages.
This isn't consistent. Sometimes it's happening on the Galleries page. Sometimes on other album sets.
So far only on album sets. And it doesn't seem to matter what the layout is. On iPad 3 and iPhone 6.

Ok. I think I fixed it. for anyone following this, when things get weird on your site, clear the template cache:
Designer > Templates > Clear Template Cache
That seems to have solved the problem. I keep forgetting about this. It's sort of like other computer issues. When in doubt, reboot. With Backlight, when in doubt (or in confusion, or wit's end), clear template cache.

Hi Rod, while clearing the cache is intended to fix things that have gone weird, it shouldn't be needed for normal changes in designer. Every time you edit a design, the version count of the template is incremented. That version count should mean that the cached files are no longer valid, causing them to be overwritten on the next page load.

Hi Ben,
It seemed to happen after I created a new Album Set template design and published it.
I did play around with the breakpoint options in the template I use for the Galleries page...
anyway, weirdness is gone
