Fonts for menu

Hi again,

sorry, I am stumbeling about another question.

How can I change the font/typography of the menu? I found how to change the base font properties - but nothing where I specifically can change the menu font. In the CE4 version, I could add a text-shadow and also change the font-family etc.
Maybe I am blind of all the new features, but any help is great.

Thanks,
Volker

Re: Fonts for menu

It will have to be custom CSS for now. I will be adding more customization options for the menus in an update.

Re: Fonts for menu

This looks like it works:

#primary-menu  {
	font-family: your-font;
}

Re: Fonts for menu

thanks - I put my css code in ".page__tray ul.menu a" and it seems to work.

after my first day with backlight, I like the idea and I am looking forward to the next updates. Because currently, I will stay with CE4 as it allows a bit more features at the moment - e.g. I don't see any chance to include the social media links to backlight.

So, I am happy that backlight is there and I see the potential and the posibilities - but I am missing a few important features from the previous version and I am patient to wait for version 1.1 or more :-)

Best regards,
Volker

Re: Fonts for menu

We're glad you see the potential. I'm fully aware not everything is in that users might immediately want, but Backlight needed to release on time; CE4 was getting long in the tooth, and the more user-friendly system needed to be out. These things will come in updates, I promise.

Don't hurry ... looks really nice and much better to handle - for now and more for future features.

Re: Fonts for menu

if there's no setting in the Designer for what you want to change, then yes, custom css.

But there is a Font Family field in the Navigation section of the page template designer.
