I have a site-wide drop-down menu implemented and it works fine except on the blog. If I view the page source, I can see that everything from my phplugins file is loaded. I also have a back-to-the-top button loaded that does not work. Any ideas?
Thanks - Monte

I'm not too good at interpreting the error messages in the inspector, but I'm seeing a lot of them on the blog page. This might have something to do with how your menus are being generated. (you're doing it dynamically now?) WordPress might be throwing a fit over it and there may be conflicts with how TTG does things and how WordPress does things.

Hi Rod. I am doing the dynamic menus now using phplugins and it works fine everywhere else. A lot of the errors have to do with incorrect links in images from old posts, which I will be getting cleaned up, but some of the errors are on coding in what seems like TTG functions. How are other people handling drop-down menus in Wordpress?

I'm just using my phplugins menu in my WordPress blog, (using Pages as the basis of the site). But I don't have any special coding that's creating the items dynamically.
So I just wonder if the code being used isn't being recognized by WordPress?
Maybe it's being hidden behind the WordPress content block? The navigation code is all there and I can't really see a difference between the code on your blog page and the code in TTG generated pages.
I think it's a mystery for Matt.
Have you tried using a regular phplugins drop-down menu? That would at least tell you if it's the dynamic code that's causing a problem.

Interesting. i spoke incorrectly. My menu isn't created dynamically. Mine is coded in phplugins just like yours. Page source for yours and mine looks the same. I will keep digging...

Wondering if there's a conflict with a WordPress plug-in. Have you tried deactivating all plug-ins (besides those Matt included)? If that fixes it, reactivate plug-ins until you find the culprit.

Great idea Rod. I swear I had tried that, but must have forgot to check in between activating each one. Figures it was the NextGEN gallery plugin. It always seems to cause problems. I am using it so that I can insert images from a published folder not in the wp-content folder. Back to the drawing board! Thanks for the help Rod!

If your menu is set and won't be changed too often, I suppose you could just use a WordPress menu with custom links in the place of the TTG menu?

I deleted NextGEN and found a cool Lightroom publish service called WP/LR Sync. It uses a companion plugin for Wordpress that lets you see the published images in the Media Library. All is fine now. Thanks Rod!

I remember seeing that plug-in before. Haven't tried it yet though.

Yeeeaaah ... I've got super hate for NextGen. If it were worth a shit, I might never have started making plugins for Lightroom. Good thing it's garbage; now we're all here. ;-)
WP/LR Sync looks cool. I'll have to check that out.

Wish I would have found WP/LR Sync before messing with NextGen. I wouldn't have wasted a day!

Please comment back how well WP/LR Sync works for you. It looks like it would fit well into my workflow.
