I've been using a pretty old version of what I believe is a Turning Gate plug called LRG One. I've had it for a long time, I've used it probably in every version of LR from 1-5. But, it doesn't work in LR-CC, sadly. I know flash galleries are no longer supported in LR CC, and I'm fairly certain LRG One isn't flash, but it still doesn't work in CC.
I use my old LRG One in LR5 to generate client galleries with a Paypal cart. So I'm stuck currently not being able to edit in LR CC and then quickly build a client gallery with Paypal cart, so I'm editing in LR5.
Is there a trial version of your cart gallery? Not really interested in laying down $80 on something I can first try and test.
Thanks.

There is no trial.
And the Cart is actually a separate, server-side module that works with CE4 Gallery for selling images. So at the very least you'd need CE4 Gallery and CE4 Cart.
If you have any specific questions though, be sure to post them here.

Thanks for that input Rod.
Unfortunately not particularly favorable that I’d spend $105 for a plug that I can’t at least try first.
I would be curious if anyone has any actual hosted live galleries with Paypal options as working examples? The examples on this site aren't very attractive.

Kristen Westlake uses the cart extensively on her site:

a lot of wedding and event photographers are using a combination of CE4 Gallery and CE4 Cart.
CE4 Gallery offers a lot of option for design and styling. Take a look at the User Showcase for some examples.

Btw, LRG One is not from The Turning Gate; I don't believe the creator's site is online anymore.
And from our cart-enabled demo gallery, you can log in to the back end (with read-only access) to explore the cart's various options. That's here:

Thanks guys for the extra details.
I must say, with all due respect, all these example galleries look pretty much the same. That's not to say bad looking, just all the same.

they all are thumbnail grid galleries, but there are several variations one can use, including masonry layouts. Plus the user has all sorts of options with colors, shadows, borders, etc.
Same with page design, Just in the masthead alone there are several options. And if you want to go beyond what the plug-ins are capable of, custom css is supported and easy to implement.
You might be able to find another Lightroom-based gallery/cart solution, but I doubt it you'll find one better.
Now if you want to go with WordPress, there are a lot more options: themes, gallery plug-ins, e-commerce solutions. None of these can be managed through Lightroom though.
but it's up to you. If you decide to give TTG a try and need any help, you'll find it here.

Thanks again for the detailed reply.
You should consider trial versions, just my 2c.
I've not found a single other LR CC plug with cart solutions. You seem to be the only one.
Thanks again, I'll revisit this solution.

The plugins are written in PHP. As such any mechanisms to limit functionality for trials could be easily circumvented. It wouldn't be a good business plan.

Also not a good business plan to purchase third party plugins that you cant test or try.
