Reinstalling Lightroom

Hi

I'm facing problems with the lightroom update to go from 6.3 to 6.4.
https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/ … s-ccm.html

I need to reinstall the program, but i'm afraid i'm losing my settings for my website.

What would be the advice to do before uninstalling lightroom to make sure i can keep using TTG for my website?

Thx!

Re: Reinstalling Lightroom

you shouldn't loose anything. Collections and their settings are stored in the catalog. So be sure to backup the catalog first.

But to be safe, you could go to the Template Browser and create or update all of your settings for each plug-in you're using.

Also back up the entire Lightroom/ folder (the same folder that holds the Web Galleries/ folder where the plug-ins are installed)
I usually just copy the folder to another place on the computer and then after the reinstall, I just copy it all back in.

Re: Reinstalling Lightroom

Never thought that uninstalling and reinstalling was so easy. 15 minutes and it was done for 2 computers :-)
Thx.
