I've just noticed a "weird" bug in publisher (I think).
I rename me files as follows: myname + YYYYMMDD + HHmm + title + original file name.
The title is the one entered in the image metadata.
I wanted to change the title of a couple of images - this would affect the generated file name.
All went well and republishing the image had the desired effect. The old file was removed and the new one added in the photos directory.
However, the old file was not removed from the thumbnails and thumbnails-for-mobile directories. The new file was added to both directories.
Is this a bug, or is there a reason for the old thumbnails to be retained?

I don't know if it's a bug or a limitation in Lightroom's Publishing service.
I think you can just delete those old thumbnails from the thumbnails/ and thumbnails-for-mobile/ folders. It doesn't seem to cause problems in my test.

Thanks Rod,
I have also just deleted them and didn't find any consequences. It's just a pia. I am trying to set up my system (lightroom and webpage) so that I don't ever have to use ftp for manual changes on the website.
Apart from this "feature" everything is working fine.
