I have created a Galleria slideshow for my Home page, with text underneath. I then created a Stage template for Publisher to use. Uploaded everything, setup the Publisher instance per documentation and published. My problem is that the slideshow does not start, nor is there any text underneath.
What have I done wrong, please?

Hard to tell without seeing anything, can you post a link?
I can try to guess though.
Did you set up the Stage template so it does what you want it to do? The Galleria settings in Pages will have no effect on the Stage template.
Did you include images in the pages-gallery album?

I see that there are more images in http://www.emergent-visions.com/test/ga … y/photos/, but somehow they don't get picked up....
BTW, you might want to disable directory browsing on your server. You might be able to set this through the control panel or need to use the .htaccess file.

the first thing I would try is renaming your Stage template. Right now, it has a space in it: 'test-home gallery'. This may or may not be messing things up.
Change it to 'test-home-gallery'
Just for reference, file and folder names should only contain letters, numbers, underscores, and dashes. No spaces or special characters.

After consideration, I have decided to burn down this test site and start fresh. I did take dl's suggestion and disable directory browsing with .htaccess.
