I'm quite sure this issue is user error... I'm using publisher to manage a Stage (CE4) - created slideshow. Everything looks good when viewed on a large browser window but as I shrink the window or view it on a phone, the pictures are rather small; definitely not filling screen as I would envision they should. What setting controls this? What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Can you provide a link we can see what's happening?

Thanks for your reply Rod. Here's the link... http://www.jeffpohlphotography.com/pmfamily/index.php
This site is basically a practice site (my family website) before I start populating my main site with TTG and images. As I mentioned, all seems to work as expected except on the index when viewed via small browsing window e.g., a phone. Again, your help is appreciated.

the size is normal
You could try changing the aspect ratio for the staging area. Looks like you got it set to 2:1. Try 3:2. That will at least maximize the size of the horizontal images.

Thanks Rod. I do in fact have it set to 2:1 but I also have it set to auto. Guess I must have misread something somewhere but it was my understanding that the <auto> setting would overwrite any set ratios. Curious now. What exactly does fixed do? I will give this a try and see how it looks. Thanks for your help!

the auto setting just means that the galleria staging area will be set at the aspect ratio you've set and take up the entire width of the core (minus any margin and padding)
If you choose 'fixed' you can set the staging area to a specific pixel dimension. (assuming the core is wide enough to accommodate)
Images will then fit in the staging area.
http://ce4.theturninggate.net/docs/doku … ia#options
So if you've got a 2:1 aspect ratio set to auto for the staging area, an image with a 2:1 ratio will fill the staging area. An image with a ratio of 3:2 will be centered in the middle. Horizontal images will naturally be larger than verticals in the staging area.
A 1:1 aspect ratio will make sure verticals are the same size as horizontals

Ok I think this makes sense now. I haven't changed it to 3:2 yet but I'll fiddle around with it at some point today. Thanks for helping me understand this!
